Needy Cat Games
Needy Cat Games is a tabletop game design studio based in Nottingham, UK. It's the brainchild of game designers James M Hewitt and Sophie Williams, and has worked for clients including Games Workshop (Blitz Bowl), Mantic Games (Hellboy: The Board Game and League of Infamy) and Steamforged Games (Devil May Cry: the Bloody Palace). James also used to be part of Games Workshop's design team, where he came up with games like Adeptus Titanicus (2018), Warhammer Quest: The Silver Tower and Gorechosen.
They've both been avid tabletop roleplayers for literal decades, and it's frankly amazing that's it's taken them this long to start writing them.
